What data exists
Minimalista has no user accounts and runs no servers of its own. Your settings, categories, favourites, dock, notes, tasks, widgets and any Quiet Digest notifications waiting for delivery all live in the app's private storage on your device. The only things that leave your phone and are retained are:
Anonymous crash & diagnostic reports sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to help fix bugs — a stack trace, app version, device model, OS version and a random installation ID. It is not linked to your identity and contains none of your notes, contacts, messages or screen contents.
Anonymous usage statistics sent to Firebase Analytics (Google) — which features are used, with a random app-instance ID. No app names, contacts, notifications or anything you type, and no advertising ID. Turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage; uninstalling the app or clearing its data resets the random ID, so past statistics can no longer be tied to your device.
Weather requests (your approximate location or a city you type) are sent to Open‑Meteo only to fetch a forecast and are not stored, so there is nothing to delete there.
Cancel a subscription
Deleting data or uninstalling does not cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Minimalista → Cancel subscription. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. The 7‑day free trial needs nothing cancelled, and the lifetime purchase is a one‑time payment.
Delete on‑device data yourself (instant)
- Clear app data: Android Settings → Apps → Minimalista → Storage → Clear storage. This erases all settings, notes, tasks and cached data immediately.
- Uninstall Minimalista to remove everything the app stored.
- Revoke permissions anytime in Android Settings → Apps → Minimalista → Permissions.
Delete crash‑report and usage‑statistics data
Crash reports are anonymous and auto‑expire (typically within 90 days) under Firebase's data‑retention policy. Usage statistics are anonymous too: turn them off anytime in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage, and clearing the app's data or uninstalling resets the random ID they're tied to. To request earlier deletion of any crash or usage data associated with your app installation, email us and we'll remove it:
Or email lunarsprintapps@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Because crash reports are anonymous and not tied to your identity, you don't need to provide any personal details; mentioning your device model and roughly when the issue happened helps us locate the reports. We respond within 30 days.
